This course is designed to equip healthcare professionals, specifically telenurses, with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in the realm of telehealth. Through a series of modules, we will explore various aspects of telehealth, with a particular focus on communication techniques, safety measures, and patient assessment. Also,, we will explore the tele-triage process, examining the various methods through which it can be conducted, from online platforms to phone and video calls. We will also discuss the software and standards involved in tele-triage, ensuring that patient data is handled securely and in compliance with regulations such as HIPAA. By the end of this course, participants will be better prepared to navigate the complexities of telehealth, providing high-quality care while ensuring patient safety and privacy.
